NKBA Student Design Competition 2011/2012
Congratulations to Jean Dinkel from Cañada College who received an Honorable Mention for her NKBA Student Design Entry in the 2011/2012 competition. She received her award at KBIS in April, 2012. This year there were more than 343 entries, so Jean’s win is a great accomplishment.
NKBA/GE Charette Competition 2012
Congratulations to Jill Garibaldi, Cañada College, and Nozomi Galloway, West Valley College, for winning Honorable Mentions in this competition. There were entries from more than 400 students at 31 colleges.
Accredited/Supported College Program
Over 39 colleges/universities participate in NKBA’s Accredited/Supported College Program. The Program was established to offer quality training at accredited institutions to prospective kitchen/bath design professionals.
There are two colleges in the Northern California region that offer the accredited program, Cañada College in Redwood City and West Valley College in Saratoga. Chabot College offers a supported program, which means it is working towards obtaining full accreditation.
Enroll in an NKBA Accredited/Supported College and join NKBA. As a Student member, you can take advantage of many members-only benefits.
